Program Services
Support personnel, as a critical component to the division’s growth and continued effort to be an efficient and effective service provider, seek to provide additional education and training services as part of the professional development goals of the division. This will be conducted by collaborating with other government, private and non-profit organizations in maximizing all available resources to equip its personnel with the knowledge and tools to enhancethe delivery of client and family services.
To name a few, the division collaborates with various programs under the CNMI Public School System, the Dept. of Public Health, the Northern Marianas College, the CNMI Family Court, the Criminal Justice Planning Agency, Ayuda Network, Inc., etc. Furthermore, education and training services are secured from abroad to cover specialized areas that are not readily available in the CNMI.
In addition, the administrative staff continues to ensure that each unit/program’s action plan reflects the vital services that are consistent with the mission and vision of promoting strong and healthy families. Various activities within the unit are also planned throughout the year to engage the clientele and community at large in family enhancement services. Networking with the Workforce Investment Agency, the Marianas Trade Institute and the Northern Marianas College continues to be a vital component to providing families with the resources to ultimately gain self-sufficiency.
